Susanne Allard
Passions for creation have always been at the heart of her artistry. She will enjoy transforming wool, fabric, wood and steel with her detailed eye. She is as confortable doodling on paper to throwing sparks with the grinder.

Ever curious, he was almost born with tools in his hands and always had to find out how things work. His inspirations come from all parts of the heritage his family of tradesmen have bestowed onto him. Although wood is his main medium every thing else is fair play.
Our Story
Our unofficial first date summer of 2019 was where we started to exchange our crazy ideas. We quickly realized that not only we had different methods and mediums that we loved to work with but that we could mesh them. My mother taught me how to sow and she was partially raised on a farm so she could handle manual labour. Then came the pandemic where we took advantage of the world stopping to work out this crazy plan to produce our art together. We spent the first 4 years exploring and meshing our existing talents then came the decision to take the first serious step - Build the workshop. Sorry, the workshops! First was transforming a bedroom into the Sue’s creative space for sowing, quilting, painting, pyrography, resin art and much more. Then came the Main workshop in 2023 for creating expensive dust.
Our pieces are ment to be used and abused. It doesn’t mean that it will last for ever but it will be lived and loved.
The S² logo represents our intertwining of our first initials, spirit and love followed by the swirl caused by the exchange of ideas to finally fall into the passing to a reality of the square.
